So I went to my friends' wedding this weekend and I must say that television does not do justice to the momentous occasion known as a wedding. I am not just talking about the dress...or the cake...or anything like that. I think that the actual action of getting married has been overthrown by cakes and dresses and receptions. I understand that people like Sylvia Winestock (the cake lady) and Vera Wang are two of the many people who have made a living off of other people's special day, but I am more moved by the words that they said...the VOWS that they made...& I know that they meant EVERY word.
